This is my Tagul. I found this a little bit tricky because I couldn't find a good light bulb to use and my laptop keept dieing so my work deleted twice. Next time I will save my work and pluge a charger in.

I have been learning Cry of the Taniwha looking at the characters.  I found this easy because I was listening well and making pictures in my mind.  My next step is to learn more about the book and find examples of how the characters act.

My Reflection

I have been learning to summarise and record my research in my own words.

I found summarising the information into my own words tricky because I could not think of other words.

Something I learnt was that Volcanoes are named after Vulcan, the Roman god of fire. 

My next step is to learn and study more about Volcanoes.

Obituary

My Reflection

I was learning to understand the impact of characters in a story.

One thing that  worked for me was sequencing the changes in Jess each chapter 

One thing I could do better was try to make my story more 
interesting 

Overall I think I did well because it was my first time writing an Obituary & I had just learnt what an Obituary was.

I am learning to Comparing Characters from the book called Bride To Terabithia.

I found this simple because I knew what happened in the story because I saw the movie and I knew more about the characters.My next step is to dig more deeper in the book and relate myself to the characters.
