This is my Tagul. I found this a little bit tricky because I couldn't find a good light bulb to use and my laptop keept dieing so my work deleted twice. Next time I will save my work and pluge a charger in.

I found the Doubling and halving strategy the easyest because I know how to havle and double my numbers well. I found the Compensation strategy little bit tricky because  I kept forgetting to
add and take away the extra numbers. Next time I will keep practising the Compensation strategy more.

This is my Daffodil Art. I found this a little confusing because I got muddled up with the verbs, adjectives and the nouns. Next time I will learn more about verbs, adjectives and the nouns.

This is my Daffodil Art. I found this a little tricky because it was hard to get the right shape of the petals and the right size of the flower. Next time I will practice more to get the right shape and size.

I love art Because it does not have to be perfect but to me everything is perfect.

This is my Daffodil Diamante Poem. We used adjectives, Nouns and Verbs. I found this a little tricky because I got a little muddled up with all the adjectives, nouns and verbs. Next I will use more wow words.

I have been learning Cry of the Taniwha looking at the characters.  I found this easy because I was listening well and making pictures in my mind.  My next step is to learn more about the book and find examples of how the characters act.

We have been learning how to apply paint. We learnt two techniques, dabbing with a sponge and dragging with cardboard.

We have been learning to write an effective speech.

I found this a little bit tricky because I could not think of a good topic to write about. I made sure I had an introduction, 3 main reasons and facts and examples to back up my reasons.

I think I have a good conclusion because it summarised the ideas of my speech.

Peer Mediator Training

For the past 2 months I have been training to be a peer mediator. A Peer Mediator is someone who walks around a specific place and gives out house points to people who are playing or doing something nice and they solve problems.

I have been learning to summarise and record my research in my own words.

I found summarising the information into my own words tricky because I could not think of other words.

Something I learnt was that Volcanoes are named after Vulcan, the Roman god of fire. 

My next step is to learn and study more about Volcanoes.
